Hello, and thanks for visiting my new blog site. Some of you may have found me here through one of my old sites. Others might have found me through Facebook. Others, well, you just might have found me by chance.
I am grateful for whatever the reason of your visit.
So, why the move?
First of all, it was a bit overwhelming to keep up with three blogs. Second, I am convinced that it’s time to “go live” with my bigger story. You will see what I mean in the days to come. For now, let me summarize the purpose of this blog:
1) Hemingway wrote this: The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places. This blog is about broken places. We all have broken places. Some of us have been broken a little. Others have been broken a lot. It is in the sharing of our broken places that we find hope.
That’s it. Really. That’s what this new blog is all about: sharing broken places. Searching the hinterlands for the smell of God. Waiting for Him in the choking fogs of life. Celebrating Him when He shows up. And sifting through every other moment in between.
I have a lot to figure out with this new site, so bear with me.
In the meantime, blessings dear friend. Blessings.
I’m a thirty-something mama & wife trying--moment-by-moment--to follow hard after Jesus' scent. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and perinatal mood disorders, this site is my gift to you: a celebration of brokenness, hope, healing, life, art, and all the miraculous moments in between.
